Denali, Alaska. I remembered the weird stares I got from people as they walked by. They probably were thinking what in the world is she looking at? It’s just a bird. Well, no it’s not just a bird. It’s a bird GROOMING its feather.

Mount McKinley, Alaska. If I had an unlimited travel budget and could travel anywhere in the US, I would revisit Alaska. I mean just LOOK at this photo! My family and I were in this tiny airplane, that didn’t have a pressurized cabin. So here we are sitting with oxygen masks taking in the gorgeous views. The worst part of this flight was figuring out how to look into the camera’s viewfinder with the bulky oxygen masks in the way. My dad and I decided to try and take as many photos as we can without the masks. That was until the pilot yelled at us and asked if we wanted to pass out… Oops. It was totally worth the risk though.
